HAPPY FOODS!! ENJOY!!

Oh yeah! Certain foods bring a good mood! Try ... ;)

These foods give us the feeling of happiness because they increase the production of neurotransmitters (like serotonin), responsible for communication between nerve cells and the creation of these sensations.

The main nutrients in a good mood are: tryptophan, amino acids, carbohydrates, folic acid, potassium, vitamin C, calcium, vitamin B complex, magnesium, selenium. They can be found in foods such as:

Spinach: Source of potassium and folic acid.

Salmon: Decrease blood cholesterol levels and improves the functioning of the brain and heart. Omega 3 acid source is important to maintain good humor.

Banana: Source of tryptophan, magnesium, carbohydrates, potassium, vitamins B6 and biotin which prevents depression, anxiety and irritation.

Pepper: It helps to lose weight and gives the feeling of euphoria, reduces stress and improves depression due to the presence of capsaicin.

Orange: Sources of vitamin C and calcium, improves mood, muscle relaxation and combating stress.

Chickpea: Source of tryptophan and magnesium.

Oatmeal: Helps the body to release serotonin which reduces symptoms of depression and insomnia.

Avocado: Rich in folic acid and potassium. Rich in protein, iron, magnesium and vitamins C, E and B6. Source of vitamin B3 (niacinamide) that acts in the central nervous system, contributing to the maintenance of hormones. Then it regulates the chemical substances in the brain and ensures a relaxing effect.

Nuts: Source of vitamin B1 (thiamin) that helps convert glucose into energy. Has inositol (phosphatidylinositol) needed for operation of serotonin and acetylcholine.
